Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude - Zig Ziglar
Most riders will stop taking lessons once they become of intermediate riding ability. Why stop there? Altitude Attitude is here to take your snowboarding to the next level. Whether you are looking for big mountain free ride lines, freestyle park riding with hitting features or hoping to confidently conquer the entire mountain in all-mountain riding, Altitude Attitude is here to help get you there.
Founded in 2020 by Stephanie after teaching snowboarding at Mammoth Mountain for 15 years, she noticed that something was missing: a safe space for women who wanted to progress their riding in different styles. Thus, Altitude Attitude was born. Today, Altitude Attitude offers several camps a year. Ranging from 3-day camps (Taos, Argentina, Tahoe, etc) to a week-long adventure in Niseko there are several options based on what kind of riding you're looking to improve on.
Altitude Attitude goal is simple: show women that they can self-coach and gain confidence through self-correction while on the mountain. For ladies that are blue riders and above (spicy girls, get ready to unlock new levels), search no more for other women who, like you, want to improve their riding. With camps capped at 15 ladies per camp and with the help of certified PSIA- AASI instructors, you'll not only leave feeling stoked to showcase your new skills but with newfound confidence on the hill.
Just how much can you expect to take from a camp with Altitude Attitude? Stephanie has had ladies who started in her camps now on their way to coaching them by her side. Doesn't that say enough? It is rather typical for women to come back the following year or to enroll in another camp style to progress themselves.
This year, Altitude Attitude is starting a women's competitive snowboard team. Designed to help other women who are looking to start competing or who are already on the circuit but want to have a crew to travel and connect with. Offering in-person and virtual coaching finding other athletes has never been such a breeze.
